yes, but does the sound help us see ourselves? or whatever is making the sound? :) interesting take for sure.

the formatting has gone awry here, dsnake. has come out as a single line than a haiku :P

i wanted to show that i dare not look into a mirror in the dark, thus it reflects only sounds. :)

the single line is intentional. in modern english haiku, i think it is acceptable. it is used to heighten an effect. in this case i wanted the reader to read it in a single breath, without a pause, because i am writing about fear.

Interesting idea. I've never considered a mirror reflecting sound instead of image, but I suppose in the dark, sound waves would bounce off it more readily than light waves...

actually, i am trying to infer that i would not look at a mirror in the dark.
