Spooky all. Nicely done.
You have made it all very spooky!! I would jump out of my skin for sure in all those circumstances!!
Anthony,
thank you. :)
Nanka,
scary, aren't they? i wanted to post a haibun about my army days (lots of spooky stuff), but this being a haiku prompt, there will be other times. :)
Yikes ... I am running as fast as I can - and not looking back! :-)
Scary, especially the bit about the cenetery, that really conjures up ghosts for me!
Hmmm... you took the prompt and used it perfectly for the Halloween occasion. Truly felt like I was in one of Stephen King's stories. Great work. Thank you for stopping by to mine too. :)
becca,
:)
quite scary images, aren't they?
Andy,
yeah, i think the 3rd haiku convey the mood best, like, one bump into one of those things and there's no place to run :)
peaceroad,
thanks for the visit! Halloween is only big here in recent years, and very commercialised, with events in restaurants and clubs.
being Asian, Halloween is a bit foreign, but i think we do share the same fears of the unknown.
so these images have a Stephen King feel to it? thank you! :)
Very eerie, my friend.
"shadows lurking shopfronts
roads next to cemeteries"
not nice places to be lingering about at alone.
The light suddenly going off, that would really make me jump especially after noticing long shadows at the closed shopfronts. :/
so, they made you jumpy, is it? :D
yah, not the nicest places to be around when alone. :)
wow!
brilliant write!
hey, great to hear from you! thanks, my friend. :)

Happy Belated Halloween,
Happy November, do come joining poets rally week 55 today.
