i thought i may have to skip a day today...
writer's blog
i have been staring
at my paper & pencil
for the past half hour
now i noticed
the pencil is quite blunt
my fingernails need trimming
still the words hang
at the tip of the tongue
and then dry up
maybe it's easier
to squeeze water
from a rock

maybe i tried too hard. then i went to the kitchen, mixed some drinks, whacked some baddies in a video game, and the words started forming. :)
