NaPoWriMo 2012 - Day #24 - soap bubbles

another shape poetry attempt. i don't think it's too good, doesn't look too round (more like a lantern) but i am tired from work...

soap bubbles

      spheres
    lighter than
   air reflecting
  rainbows alive by
 some laws of physics
 riding with the wind
  the breeze, the sun
   children   squeak
    little hands out
     stretch trying
       to catch a
         rainbow

The colors in a bubble are truly fantastic, and only lasts a moment.

It's hard to make shape poems on word document, much less in blogger's edit window.

Raven,

nature (or physics) is an artist, isn't it? :)

i tried to make a true round shape, but it's difficult. i can experiment with other fonts, but it will be time-consuming, and i was pooped. i may revist this one another day.

btw, have you tried blogger's new interface? i switched back to the old one already. :)

Thanks for visiting!
appreciate your comment, and do drop by again. :)

Lynn,

Thank you! i saw a bunch of happy kids playing with soap bubbles near my home, and this sort of inspired this piece. :)

Blogger's new interface -- no problems with it. So I guess I'll use the new one.

If you are going for a perfectly round shape, the only way is to arrange on a word document than do a screen shot and post it as a jpeg.

it's the navigating part, i guess i must try to get used to it. :)

and thanks for pointing me out to how to get a round shape.
