the sun does not set on our town, sometimes
The sun is setting over our shanty town. Mother calls us to come back for dinner. She has a loud voice. My sister and I stop playing with the other kids and run back home. There is a chicken drumstick each in our rice bowls. We are wondering what festival or ocassion it is today. Mother tells us that Aunty had won big in a card game today. Don't tell dad or Uncle or Grandpa when they come back from work.
