AI is the rage these days. It seems they are into everything and anything. Writing, coding, music and art. I am presently exploring the art part.

Can AI take over the artist? No, not yet. But it can take you into territories one can only imagine.

No, AI did not write the following story. I did, but you have probably heard it somewhere before.


AI - Art & I #05 (Lost in Translation)

On the last day of my vacation, I decided to have my breakfast at the coffee house of the hotel. I ordered two pieces of toast, a fried egg, a sausage and a coffee. When the food arrived, there was only one piece of toast. So I called the waitress over, pointed to the toast and said, "I want two pieces on my table".

She looked kind of funny at me and then screamed, "You crazy old coot, you cannot piss on the table!". I do not understand why I got tossed out of the cafe when I just asked for another piece of toast.

Later in the day, after some sightseeing around the town, I returned to the hotel and decided to have my dinner there. When the fish and chips which I ordered arrived, I found that there was a knife and spoon but no forks. So I called the waitress over, pointed to the cutlery and said, "I want a fork".

She looked kind of funny at me and then shouted, "Yeah, yeah, everybody wants a fuck! You crazy old geezer!". I do not understand why I got tossed out of the restaurant when I just asked for a fork.

So I decided to go back to my room and rest. The people had cleaned the room but there was no sheets on the bed. I called the duty desk and said, "I want a sheet on my bed"

After a slight pause, an indignant male voice said, "You crazy old fart, you cannot shit on the bed!". I was nearly tossed out of the hotel, but they realised it was just a tired old guy wanting to sleep.

The next day, I checked out of the hotel. I was planning to give them a one star review. After settling the bill, the front desk guy smile and said,"Thank you, sir. May peace be with you."

"Piss on you", I said.
