Shiki Kukai : vegetables

The theme for the July kukai at haikuworld was "vegetable(s)". Seriously, it was not easy to write (or I was just not trying). Anyway, when I was satisfied with one, it was too late to submit. I wonder how it will fare if it was sent in.
